Richard Franklin Lennox Thomas Pryor was born on December 1, 1940 in Peoria, Illinois. He had three other siblings.
On December 10, 2005, Richard Franklin Lennox Thomas Pryor suffered a heart attack in Encino, Los Angeles, California . He was taken to a local hospital after his wife’s attempts to resuscitate him failed. He was pronounced dead at 7:58 a.m.. He was 65 years old. His widow Jennifer was quoted as saying, “At the end, there was a smile on his face.”He was cremated, and his ashes were given to his family.
Richard Pryor legacy will be lived on through his Wife Renee and his Seven children. His global influence is unmatched. A true genius at his craft. An individual that refused to die. He will be forever the greatest comedian that walked this planet. He talked, walked, smiled and took us through his entire life here a lesson journey of persistence and freedom.
