In January 2009 we as a nation and world were able to see the 44th president of the UNITED STATES elect the First African American President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama and including the FIRST AFRICAN AMERICAN FAMILY to live and lead a nation in the US history. He is the first black president to serve for two terms.
I would like to mention this amazing timeline of events that as General Colin Powell and Honorable Condoleezza Rice held office positions as the FIRST AFRICAN AMERICANS TO HOLD THE POSITON OF SECRETARY OF STATE in the president’s cabinet.
