ONE OF HIS AMAZING QUOTE IS :

“I love this job because you get to serve everyday and make a real difference protecting people and giving a voice to those who feel like they don’t have one. It’s gratifying putting bad guys away. I’m the son of an immigrant who came here to flee tyranny. I’m thrilled to serve here every day.”

SECRET STING IN COLUMBIA CHILD SEX SLAVERY RESCUE /

Attorney General Sean Reyes participate in a rescue mission with Tim Ballard, the founder of OURrescue.org( Operation Underground Railroad ) to Colombia that saved over 100 young girls from child sex slavery. It was both excruciatingly painful and inspiring. Liberating these young girls from the hands of cartel members will be forever imprinted in my mind—and will be a guiding force that helps me to protect more families and Utahans from this violent crime in the future.

Today, there are over 2 million children worldwide enslaved in this heinous industry, many of whom who reside in the United States.

Attorney General Reyes in 2015 urged Congress to get stricter on human trafficking worldwide, particularly by passing an international Megan’s Law to protect children from predators.

Human trafficking, he said, is one of the most insidious but least understood and recognized crimes.

Through his determination he has help many children with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) is a task-force started by the United States Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) in 1998. Its primary goals are to provide state and local law enforcement agencies the tools to prevent Internet crimes against children by encouraging multi-jurisdictional cooperation, as well as educating law enforcement agents, parents, and teachers. The aims of ICAC task forces are to catch distributors of child pornography on the Internet, whether delivered on-line or solicited on-line and distributed through other channels and to catch sexual predators who solicit victims on the Internet through chat rooms, forums and other methods. Currently all fifty states participate in ICAC.

Authorities arrested 1,368 suspects, including 71 from Utah. The suspects were charged with various offenses including possession and manufacturing of child pornography and soliciting children online for sex.

TWO OF HIS QUOTES:

“As a father of six children, I want to change that,” Reyes told the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa and Global Human Rights in Washington, D.C.

“Anybody who would say that human trafficking and child exploitation doesn’t exist in our community is perpetuating a very irresponsible myth amongst the community,”
