He previously held prominent roles including President and CEO of Sears Holdings, formed through the merger of retail giants Kmart and Sears, during which he led Kmart as President and CEO. Prior to his tenure at Sears, he served as President, Chief Multi-Branding, and Operating Officer of YUM! Brands, Inc., overseeing renowned chains like KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut, and as Chief Operating Officer of Pizza Hut. Mr. His leadership extends beyond the restaurant industry; he has sat on the Board of Directors for The Walt Disney Company since 2004 and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. since 2013. Additionally, he serves as a trustee of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
