At Seattle Children’s Dr. Anderson developed a Pediatric Outpatient Pain Clinic and a Complementary Medicine Clinic which helps make the hospital’s expert care available to everyone.

Dr. Anderson earned his A.B. with honors in Biochemistry from Harvard University before obtaining his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1982. Throughout his career, he has been at the forefront of innovation in pediatric pain care, securing research funding, publishing numerous scholarly articles, and speaking at international conferences. In 2001, he was recognized with the prestigious title of “World’s Best Doctor.”
