Henry was an African American Blues singer and guitarist. He was Texas. He was popular as one of the most gifted western blues singer of the 1920’s given also the tittle of the Father of Texas Blues. Also during that time the black communities started their own settlements of middle class blacks in Tulsa Oklahoma, New York,
